Praxis Home Retail Limited has named Ravi Venkatraman as Chairperson, reinforcing its governance leadership as the company moves into its next phase. The board, at its April 15, 2026 meeting, unanimously approved the appointment, with Venkatraman continuing in his existing role as an Independent Director. Venkatraman brings more than four decades of finance and governance experience to Praxis. A Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant by training, he retired in 2020 as Executive Director & Chief Financial Officer of Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Limited. In that role, he drove corporate strategy, capital raising, governance, regulatory engagement, risk management, and technology transformation, and helped build several Mahindra Group financial services entities. His board service spans multiple listed and unlisted companies across financial services, insurance, asset management, fintech, and banking, underscoring a deep track record in governance and strategic oversight.
