Pokarna Limited is moving to institutionalize its leadership spine with the board approving the re-appointments of two top executives, reinforcing continuity at the helm. In a meeting held on 29 April 2026, the board sanctioned the five-year terms for Rahul Jain as Managing Director and Gautam Chand Jain as Chairman and Managing Director, both subject to shareholder approval at the ensuing annual general meeting. The governance move underscores a plan for sustained strategic thrust across the stone and engineered surfaces business, with the leadership duo positioned to steer operations through 2031.
Rahul Jain, currently the Managing Director of Pokarna Limited, brings a blend of marketing acumen and strategic leadership. A University of Michigan graduate, he has spurred growth across the company’s brand portfolio, including spearheading the Stanza apparel line and driving the entry into engineered quartz surfaces under the Quantra brand. He has also led the Granite Division and played a pivotal role in policy planning, marketing, and long-term development initiatives for the business.
Gautam Chand Jain, the Chairman and Managing Director, has been a central architect of Pokarna’s diversification and global expansion. Beginning in the family retailing and Raymond fabrics trade, he pivoted into the natural stone industry in 1991, pioneering a backward-integrated model from quarrying to processing. Under his leadership, Pokarna grew into a recognized exporter of granite and later expanded into apparel with the Stanza brand. The impending re-appointment positions him to continue guiding the group’s strategic direction and international footprint.
