Pokarna appoints Om Jaiswal as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer following Pratima Gulankar’s resignation

Pokarna Limited has announced a leadership reshuffle in its corporate secretarial function, naming Om Jaiswal as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, effective August 8, 2026. The appointment comes after the resignation of Pratima Khandu Gulankar from the same role, which takes effect at the close of business on August 7, 2026.

The decision, taken at a board meeting on August 7, 2026 following a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, places Jaiswal at the helm of governance and regulatory compliance for the group’s listed entity. Jaiswal is an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and holds a B.Com. degree from the University of Delhi, bringing hands-on exposure in corporate secretarial and compliance functions under the Companies Act, SEBI regulations, FEMA and other applicable corporate laws.

Gulankar’s exit is described as a pursuit of an alternate career opportunity outside Pokarna, with the company requesting the necessary filings be completed to give effect to the change. The move signals Pokarna’s ongoing focus on steady governance leadership as it navigates its growth across its granite and quartz surfaces businesses.

As Pokarna looks to maintain strong compliance oversight amid its quarterly results cycle, the introduction of Om Jaiswal in the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer role underscores a continuity-driven approach to governance and regulatory stewardship for the group.
