MapmyIndia reshuffles leadership to push Mappls AI and innovation

MapmyIndia, the parent arm of C.E. Info Systems Limited, has unveiled a leadership realignment that underscores its push into AI-driven mapping and next‑gen software offerings. In a board meeting held on November 4, 2026, the company announced the appointment of Abhit Kalasotra as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Software Engineering, signaling a sharpened focus on software development and engineering leadership. Alongside this, Rashmi Verma was redesignated from Chief Technology Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer to Chief Innovation Officer, reinforcing a mandate to accelerate innovation and the adoption of AI and emerging technologies across the group. The board also appointed Nitin Sagar as Chief Product Technology Officer (CPTO), Mappls AI, to steer the development of AI-native maps and location intelligence platforms, aligning product strategy with the Mappls AI initiative.

The governance moves extend into the company’s subsidiary setup. Anuj Kumar Jain, the Group CFO, was also assigned an additional role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Gtropy Systems Private Limited, a material subsidiary, effective November 4, 2026. In the same wave of leadership expansion, Vishal Pandey was appointed Chief Business Officer (CBO) of Gtropy Systems Private Limited. The ensemble of changes reflects a concerted effort to bolster executive leadership across technology, product, and subsidiary operations as MapmyIndia doubles down on its AI-driven roadmap and Mappls ecosystem.

Taken together, the leadership shifts position MapmyIndia to more aggressively pursue AI-enabled mapping, data services, and platform offerings while strengthening cross‑border collaboration among the Mappls family of entities. With Kalasotra’s engineering mandate, Verma’s renewed focus on innovation, and Sagar’s Mappls AI leadership, the company signals a clear intent to accelerate product development and AI adoption. The appointment of Jain and Pandey at the subsidiary level further anchors the strategy in on-the-ground operational execution across the group’s technology and data-asset businesses.
