JNK India Limited is signaling a finance leadership transition with the resignation of Anand Agarwal from the role of Interim Chief Financial Officer, effective at the close of business on November 5, 2026. The move marks a shift in the company’s finance leadership as it continues to navigate growth after its IPO-era expansion and ongoing governance refinements. Agarwal’s departure also means he will cease to be a Key Managerial Person, underscoring the company’s ongoing refresh of its leadership bench.
Stepping into the CFO role, the board has appointed Praveen Sood as Chief Financial Officer and KMP, with effect from November 12, 2026. The appointment comes on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Audit Committee. Mr. Sood arrives with a deep and varied background in corporate finance and leadership, with a career spanning about 37 years and senior stints at institutions such as Tata Steel, TRL Krosaki, and most recently as Executive Vice President at Jindal Renewables, where his responsibilities encompassed business evaluation, financial management, governance, and risk oversight.
In line with the leadership transition, the board has also authorized Praveen Sood and Ashish Soni (Company Secretary & Compliance Officer) as authorized persons for materiality decisions and related disclosures. The change signals a move toward continuity and strengthened financial governance as JNK India continues to build on its financial reporting and strategic execution. The company has been releasing unaudited financial results for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2026, reflecting ongoing discipline in financial management and the execution of its strategic roadmap.
