Jindal Poly Films appoints Internal Auditor and reappoints Independent Director to bolster governance

Jindal Poly Films Limited signaled a dual leadership move as its board met on August 14, 2026: appointing an Internal Auditor and proposing the re-appointment of an Independent Director. The announcements underscore a focused push on governance and internal controls as the company navigates a complex business environment.

The board approved the appointment of Sanchit Jain as Internal Auditor for the financial year 2026-27, on the recommendation of the Audit Committee. Jain is described as a finance and accounting professional with over 15 years of experience across accounting, internal audit, financial reporting, MIS, budgeting, internal controls and project finance. His background spans sectors including power, manufacturing, EPC and infrastructure, and he is expected to strengthen the company’s control environment and financial processes.

Separately, the board approved the re-appointment of Sanjeev Aggarwal as an Independent Director (Non-Executive) for a second four-year term, from October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2030, subject to member approval at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting. Aggarwal, who runs a sheet metal manufacturing and fabrication business, joins governance in a role designed to bring outside perspective and oversight to the board.

Taken together, the moves reflect JPF’s emphasis on governance continuity and risk oversight as it pursues its strategic priorities and works to strengthen operational resilience across its broader business portfolio.
