IRM Energy Limited is reshaping its finance leadership as part of a realignment of the organization’s finance function. In a notice to the exchanges, the company said that the board, at its meeting on August 13, 2026, approved the relinquishment of the Chief Financial Officer role by Arunkumar Saluru, effective at the close of business on August 13, 2026. The board also announced the appointment of Ashish Maheshwari as Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel, effective August 14, 2026. Saluru will transition to a senior finance role within the company as Vice President Finance & Accounts. The move signals a continuity plan for IRM Energy’s finance leadership while stepping up internal realignment to support broader investor relations and growth initiatives.
Ashish Maheshwari steps into the CFO role after serving as Director-Finance within IRM Energy, where he has been categorized as Senior Management. He brings more than 16 years of experience in corporate finance, project finance, treasury, financial planning, and strategic business performance management. His background includes qualifications as a Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, and Law Graduate, along with an IFRS diploma from ACCA (UK). The company notes his track record in fundraising, project financing, investor relations, financial modelling, budgeting, and large-scale infrastructure, power, and renewable energy projects, with prior experience at Adani Group, Kalpataru Group, and Reliance ADAG Group.
In parallel with the CFO transition, IRM Energy’s leadership has authorized key personnel to determine materiality of events or information requiring disclosures to stock exchanges, underscoring a governance framework aligned with the appointment. The company’s leadership transition aims to bolster the finance function’s strategic contribution to the energy business as IRM Energy pursues its growth agenda across its portfolio and partnerships.
The changes mark a significant moment in IRM Energy’s executive leadership as it navigates growth opportunities in a dynamic energy landscape, balancing continuity with fresh leadership in the CFO role to drive financial planning, governance, and investor communications.
