IFGL Refractories Limited has unveiled a cross-border leadership reshuffle at its US-focused subsidiary Mono Ceramics Inc. (MCI), elevating two long-serving executives to Co-Presidents of the manufacturing arm. Effective 16 August 2026, Ashok Kumar Kedia and Frank Mitchell will jointly lead MCI, following the cessation of Mukesh Harshadrai Rawal as President of MCI at the close of 15 August 2026. The changes mark a notable shift in the subsidiary’s leadership as the group continues to align its executive bench across geographies.
Ashok Kumar Kedia, a US citizen of Indian origin, serves as Vice President of Finance and is the IFGL USA Group Finance Head. His profile highlights a long tenure with the IFGL Group—joining in 1998 and accumulating roughly 34 years of manufacturing experience—built on a foundation that includes B.Com (Hons.) from Calcutta University and associate memberships in ICAI, ICSI, ICMAI, IMA (USA), along with a CPA license from the Montana Board of Public Accountants. In his new Co-President role at MCI, Kedia is poised to bring deep financial leadership and broad operational insight to the subsidiary’s manufacturing pursuits.
Frank Mitchell, a US citizen, steps up as Co-President of MCI after serving as Vice President of Manufacturing for Mono Ceramics Inc. (MCI). Mitchell’s tenure with the company stretches back to 1988, with the bulk of his more than 40-year career rooted in manufacturing leadership. His background features a High School Diploma complemented by college coursework, positioning him to contribute hands-on operational expertise to the newly formed co-leadership structure at MCI.
The leadership transition at MCI underscores IFGL’s intent to consolidate and amplify manufacturing leadership within its US subsidiary, leveraging a combined force of financial and manufacturing acumen to navigate the next phase of growth. With Rawal stepping aside as President and Kedia and Mitchell assuming the top posts, MCI enters this new chapter with executives who bring decades of hands-on industry experience and a track record of delivering operational results across the IFGL network.
