Hexaware Technologies is reshaping its executive leadership, underscoring a sharpened focus on technology debt resolution and the strategic expansion of its Travel and Transportation practice. Effective October 1, 2026, Eswaran Venkatachalam shifts from Executive Vice President – Global Head Travel and Transportation to Executive Vice President – Global Head of Zero Tech Debt, while Neeraj Kumar takes on the role of Executive Vice President – Global Head Travel and Transportation. The changes reflect Hexaware’s intent to capitalize on its senior leadership to steer high-growth service lines and client-centric offerings across the globe.
Eswaran Venkatachalam brings nearly three decades of experience with Hexaware, having been with the company since 1998. With a background in chemistry and a postgraduate diploma in computer applications, his long tenure has spanned multiple facets of Hexaware’s technology services. Neeraj Kumar arrives as a veteran of the IT services industry, most recently serving as the Business Unit Head for Travel, Transportation, Logistics, and Hospitality at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). Over more than 25 years at TCS, he built a track record of managing large client portfolios across the Americas and delivering digital strategies, outsourcing deals, and transformations. Kumar is also fortified by executive leadership training from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business, complementing his engineering foundation from North Maharashtra University. His appointment signals Hexaware’s intent to intensify its global Travel and Transportation offerings with a leader who blends deep industry insight with strong deal execution experience.
Taken together, the moves position Hexaware to accelerate both its new-zero tech debt initiative and its flagship Travel and Transportation practice, leveraging leadership continuity and fresh external perspectives to drive growth in a competitive market.
