Kolte-Patil Developers has approved the re-appointment of Girish Vanvari as Independent Director for a five-year term from 29 July 2026 to 28 July 2031, following the company’s 35th Annual General Meeting held on 27 July 2026. Vanvari will serve as an Independent Director (Non-Executive) and is not liable to retire by rotation, the company said in its disclosure to the stock exchanges.
Girish Vanvari brings more than 27 years of consulting experience, including 13+ years with KPMG where he was National Leader for Tax and a member of the India Leadership Team. In his last role at KPMG, he led the tax practice within M&A and restructuring, engaging with business leaders across sectors in India and abroad. His career also includes a decade at Arthur Andersen. Vanvari’s diverse background spans manufacturing, infrastructure, telecom, IT/ITes, energy, financial services, auto, and FMCG, among others, equipping him with a broad view of corporate strategy and governance.
Industry observers note that his blend of tax, regulatory, and advisory expertise strengthens Kolte-Patil’s boardroom discussions as the company navigates a dynamic market landscape.
