Bhartiya International Limited has named G N Venkatesha Babu as Group Chief Executive Officer, with effect from 6 April 2026, underscoring the board’s plan to anchor its next phase of growth with seasoned leadership.
Mr. Babu brings more than three decades of experience in the apparel and textile industry, a track record of scaling businesses, driving operational excellence and lifting financial performance. He has served in senior leadership roles including as the CEO of the Apparel Vertical Cluster at Arvind Limited and as CEO at Indian Designs Exports, with additional leadership stints at Texport Syndicate and Shahi Exports. He holds a Doctorate in Lean Six Sigma from Bangalore University and an M.Tech in Textile Technology from IIT Delhi.
Industry observers will note that his background in Lean Six Sigma and hands-on experience across the textile value chain position Bhartiya to pursue efficiency-led growth while sharpening its competitive edge in a demanding market.
