Fusion Finance Limited has ushered in a new chapter in its HR leadership, appointing Chinmayi Trivedi as Chief Human Resource Officer, effective September 15, 2026. The move follows the resignation of Pooja Mehta from the CHRO role, with her last working day slated for October 11, 2026. The company has expressed appreciation for Mehta’s contributions and welcomed Trivedi, signaling a renewed focus on shaping Fusion Finance’s people strategy amid a period of transformation.
Chinmayi Trivedi arrives at Fusion Finance with more than two decades of HR leadership across banking, housing finance, asset management, and broader financial services. In her most recent role, she served as Executive Vice President – Human Resources at Truhome Finance Ltd., where she led the build-out of the people function, talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and digital HR transformation. Her prior positions include Head HR – Wholesale Finance Group at Piramal Capital & Housing Finance Ltd., as well as leadership roles at IDFC Ltd. and HDFC Bank Ltd., where she partnered with business leaders on organization design, culture transformation, and leadership development. Her track record encompasses large-scale HR transformations, organizational effectiveness, and recognitions for workplace excellence.
The appointment underscores Fusion Finance’s intent to accelerate its people agenda as it navigates growth and change. By bringing in a leader with a hands-on background in digitalization and culture-building, the company aims to reinforce its talent architecture, governance, and employee experience. Mehta’s departure marks a transition that the board frames as an opportunity to sustain momentum in the company’s HR initiatives while ensuring a smooth handover to a new chief who is positioned to drive strategic people outcomes.
