Eimco Elecon (India) Limited said on 13 October 2026 that Vishal C. Begwani has resigned as Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel, effective at the close of business on 30 October 2026. The company noted that he will also cease to be the KMP authorized for determining materiality of events for disclosures and will step down from the Risk Committee from the same date.

The board placed on record its appreciation for Begwani’s contributions during his tenure as CFO. Begwani’s resignation letter, dated September 5, 2026, states that he is leaving to pursue another professional opportunity and that he is committed to a smooth handover and transition of financial operations, statutory reporting, and audit closures.

Beyond the leadership change, Eimco Elecon released its Q2 and H1 FY27 highlights, showing momentum in execution and a continued focus on delivering value. The company reported a healthy revenue trajectory and improved margins, with remarks from the Executive Director noting optimism about the outlook and a commitment to operational excellence to sustain growth.

As the company navigates this transition in its finance leadership, the immediate task will be to identify and onboard a successor who can sustain the financial discipline and strategic oversight that the CFO role demands. The leadership change underscores the ongoing evolution of the company’s governance as it pursues its growth agenda in mining and infrastructure sectors.
