Deepak Fertilisers appoints Naresh Kumar Puritipati as President of HR; Naresh Pinisetti moves to Corporate Governance

Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation Limited has announced a senior management realignment, naming Naresh Kumar Puritipati as President – Human Resources, effective 2 July 2026. In tandem, Naresh Pinisetti, who has been leading HR on an interim basis as President – Corporate Governance, will no longer oversee the HR function but will continue to serve in his governance role.

Puritipati brings more than 25 years of HR leadership across multinational and Indian conglomerates, most recently serving as Group HR Director at Lactalis India. His career spans senior HR roles within Coca-Cola’s India operations and across regional units in Myanmar and Malaysia, with a focus on aligning people practices with business priorities, driving organizational transformation, leadership development, and cultural integration. His academic background includes graduation in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations, a postgraduate degree in Human Resource Management, and a PhD in HRM.

Pinisetti’s shift preserves continuity in Corporate Governance at the senior level, ensuring governance, risk management, and compliance leadership remains anchored while the HR function gains a dedicated executive strategist. The changes underscore Deepak Fertilisers’ emphasis on strengthening its human capital capability as the company navigates growth and organizational transformation across its footprint. By positioning a seasoned HR leader at the helm of people strategy, the company signals its intent to deepen talent development, culture-building, and cross-entity alignment at a time of strategic scale.
