Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited has announced the appointment of Ritesh Kumar Golchha as a Non-Executive Independent Director on its Board, effective 7 October 2026. Golchha brings with him about two decades of experience in financial consultancy, audit and assurance, project finance, taxation and corporate compliance. A Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and a commerce graduate, he is currently a partner at M/s Premchand and Company, where he provides financial, taxation and corporate advisory services. His background encompasses project financing, statutory audits, direct taxation and advisory on government subsidies and fiscal incentives.
The company notes that Golchha is not related to any other director, underscoring the independent stance of his appointment. With his financial acumen and advisory experience, CPCL can anticipate strengthened governance processes, enhanced financial oversight and strengthened strategic input at the board level as it pursues its growth and performance objectives.
