Concord Enviro Systems Names CFO and Extends MD Term While Bolstering Governance with Independent Directors

Concord Enviro Systems Limited unveiled a leadership reshuffle as its board approved the appointment of Shleshank Laheri as Chief Financial Officer, effective 11 August 2026. Laheri, a chartered accountant with around two decades of experience across investment banking, healthcare and FMCG, is set to steer the company’s financial strategy and fortify its capital allocation as Concord pursues its growth agenda.

Alongside the CFO appointment, the board ratified the reappointment of Prayas Goel as Managing Director for a further three-year term from 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2030, subject to shareholder approval. Goel’s track record in organizational strategy and business transformation positions him to guide the group through an inflection point, working in tandem with the new CFO.

The board also re-appointed three independent directors—Prakash Shah, Kamal Shanbhag and Shiraz Bugwadia—for second terms, subject to shareholder approval. Each brings deep governance and sector experience: Shah in legal practice spanning four decades; Shanbhag in financial advisory and corporate finance; Bugwadia in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and capital markets. They have been associated with the company as Independent Directors since 2022. Together, these leadership moves reflect Concord Enviro’s emphasis on robust governance and disciplined financial management as it advances its strategy.
