Archies Limited has appointed Anant Gupta as a Non-Executive Independent Director of the company, effective 2 November 2026, for a term of five years subject to shareholder approvals. The appointment adds an independent governance voice to the board, with Gupta bringing a finance and audit focus to the company’s oversight. Gupta is 39 years old and holds a B.Com (H), FCA, and DISA, and is currently a partner at Gupta & Bagaria, Chartered Accountant, with more than 13 years of experience in finance and audits.
In line with the governance refresh, Archies also announced the reconstitution of its board committees to accommodate the new independent director. Anant Gupta will be a member of the Audit Committee and the Nomination & Remuneration Committee, joining Charan Jeet Singh Kochhar (Chair) and Anil Kumar Verma (Member). The changes reflect the company’s emphasis on robust oversight and alignment with the Companies Act, 2013 and SEBI LODR regulations.
The company’s secretary noted that the appointment is part of a broader effort to strengthen governance and board effectiveness, with a postal ballot process conducted for related approvals. The development signals Archies’ continued focus on strengthening its board with independent expertise to guide strategy, risk management, and governance in a dynamic market environment.
