Allcargo Global Limited expands board with Essa Al Saleh and Ravi Jakhar

Allcargo Global Limited has strengthened its board with two new appointments, widening its governance and strategic oversight. The company, via a board circular resolution dated October 2, 2026, approved the appointment of Essa Al Saleh as an Additional Non-Executive Independent Director for a three-year term starting October 1, 2026, and Ravi Jakhar as an Additional Director (Non-Executive, Non-Independent) also effective from October 1, 2026. Both appointments are contingent on the approval of the company’s members.

Essa Al Saleh arrives on the board with a track record spanning more than 28 years of global leadership across public, private and venture-backed ventures. In his recent tenure as CEO of Agility Global Integrated Logistics (GIL), he steered a multi-country operation from roughly US$300 million in revenue to a global network generating about US$4 billion, overseeing more than 40 acquisitions across four continents and ultimately building the business into a highly integrated global logistics platform before its sale for US$4.8 billion. His breadth of experience across mergers, acquisitions, and international expansion is poised to bolster Allcargo’s governance and growth agenda on the board.

Ravi Jakhar brings a complementary mix of finance, strategy and operational oversight to Allcargo’s board. Currently the Group Chief Financial Officer and Director – Strategy for Allcargo Group, he leads the group’s strategy and finance functions and oversees global operations, internal audit and legal matters. With more than two decades in leadership roles across technology, entrepreneurship and corporate governance, Jakhar has guided capital strategy, funding initiatives and joint ventures—expertise that could reinforce Allcargo’s financial discipline and strategic execution as it navigates its next phase of growth. The company notes that these appointments are subject to member approval, signaling a careful alignment of governance with stakeholder interests as Allcargo positions itself for broader international footprint.
