She holds an MBA from the University of Delhi, a B.Sc. (Hons.) from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Analysts view the appointment as a signal of Adani Enterprises’ ongoing emphasis on robust governance and risk oversight as it navigates its expanding portfolio. By bringing in a veteran independent director with global banking and risk-management depth, the company aims to bolster board oversight, strategic guidance, and regulatory-compliance discipline. Abrol’s presence is expected to inform discussions on capital allocation, governance practices, and strategic risk management as Adani Enterprises continues to scale across industries and geographies.
