Life Insurance Corporation of India has quietly but decisively reshaped its training leadership, announcing that Sangeeta Ram has been re-designated as Principal, Zonal Training Centre, Agra, and recognised as a Senior Management Personnel of the organisation. The move underscores LIC’s ongoing emphasis on building a robust internal training spine to support its vast distribution network and service ambitions across its Agra zonal footprint.
Ram’s career with LIC stretches back to 1989, a tenure spanning more than three decades. A graduate in Arts, she has traversed administrative roles across the North Central Zone and was briefly deputed to the Council for Insurance Ombudsman in Lucknow. Before taking charge as Principal at the Zonal Training Centre, Agra, she served as a Faculty Member at the same centre, positioning her as a deeply embedded custodian of LIC’s training ethos in the region.
The re-designation places a spotlight on LIC’s commitment to leadership from within its training ecosystem. By elevating a long-serving internal leader, the company signals a priority on sustaining high-caliber training programs that equip agents and staff with the knowledge and customer-centric skills essential in a competitive life-insurance market.
As Agra’s Zonal Training Centre continues to calibrate curricula and upskill LIC’s frontline teams, Ram’s continuity at the helm is being watched as a milestone in LIC’s broader strategy to deepen internal capabilities and institutional memory across its network.
