Prince Pipes and Fittings Limited has kicked off a leadership refresh aimed at sharpening its growth trajectory. In a board decision taken on November 3, 2026, the company appointed Rajat Mishra as Chief Business Officer, a move that underscores the group’s emphasis on strengthening its commercial engine. Mishra’s appointment—approved on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee—takes effect from November 3, 2026. He arrives with more than two decades of cross-sector leadership across Building Materials, Adhesives, FMCG and Telecom, with prior leadership stints at Astral, Ashirvad, Pidilite, Mondelez International and Vodafone, bringing a track record in driving business momentum and strategic partnerships.
Coinciding with this, Ashok Mehra, who has been serving as President – Chief Marketing Officer and a Senior Management Personnel, will retire from the company at the close of business on November 16, 2026. Mehra will stay on through the transition to ensure a seamless handover of responsibilities to Mishra, with the board noting its appreciation for his valuable contributions during his tenure.
In another governance note, the Board approved the termination of the Employee Stock Option Scheme, 2017 (ESOP Scheme 2017) with immediate effect, in line with the scheme’s provisions. The company said it will reflect on future incentive arrangements as it navigates its next phase of growth. Collectively, the moves signal Prince Pipes’ intent to couple fresh leadership with continuity, as it pursues expansion of its product portfolio and market footprint across its core UPVC, CPVC, PPR and HDPE piping businesses.
