PTC India Limited has appointed Amol Babulal Taori as a Non-Executive Nominee Director on its board, representing Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. The appointment will take effect from October 23, 2026, positioning Taori as a governance bridge between POWERGRID and PTC India as part of the company’s boardroom line-up.
Amol Babulal Taori currently serves as Director (Finance) at POWERGRID and is a Chartered Accountant with nearly 30 years of experience spanning finance, treasury, international trade, marketing and compensation management. Before becoming Director (Finance) at POWERGRID, Taori was Executive Director (In-charge) – International Trade at Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), where he managed crude procurement of approximately 700 kbd, product imports and exports, chartering/shipping arrangements, and oil price risk management. He has also served on the board of HPCL Middle East FZCO, Dubai.
Taori’s appointment on the board of PTC India Ltd as POWERGRID’s nominee reflects ongoing governance links between key energy sector players.
