ASK Automotive Limited has announced the appointment of Krishan Swaroop Malik as President-Operations for its Aluminium Lightweighting Precision Solutions (ALPS) division and as Senior Management Personnel, effective 12 October 2026. The move, approved by the board on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, reinforces the company’s focus on strengthening its operational backbone.
Malik is a mechanical engineer with approximately 35 years of experience in the automobile and allied industries. He spent over 19 years with the Honda Group and has held senior positions at Escorts Limited, Delphi, Lumax-GHSP, Mahindra Two Wheelers and Revent Engineering. His expertise spans business development, operations management, manufacturing excellence, technology integration, strategic planning and profitability improvement. He holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Gogte Institute of Technology, Belgaum, and a PG Diploma in Business Administration (Marketing) from YMCA, New Delhi.
In his new role, Malik will lead Operations for the ALPS division on a full-time basis, aligning with ASK’s strategic roadmap for advanced aluminium lightweighting solutions and aiming to sharpen manufacturing performance and accelerate product innovation across the group.
The appointment underscores ASK Automotive’s commitment to building leadership depth in its core manufacturing and technology enablement functions, leveraging Malik’s decades of experience to drive efficiency, scale and long-term value for the organization.
