Sree Rayalaseema Hi-Strength Hypo Limited has formalized the addition of a new non-executive independent director to its governance fold. At the company’s 21st Annual General Meeting held on 26 September 2026, shareholders approved the appointment of Phaneendra Rao Kasturi as a Non-Executive Independent Director, effective from 12 August 2026 for a five-year term. The AGM’s decision confirms the board’s ongoing commitment to strengthening governance and oversight at the highest level of decision-making.
Kasturi brings a depth of financial and governance expertise to the table. He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with more than two decades of experience spanning audit, assurance, taxation, corporate advisory and financial governance. Notably, he secured a high national ranking in ICAI’s Intermediate examinations and holds the Diploma in Information Systems Audit (DISA) from ICAI. His professional track record includes governance, financial reporting, internal controls, regulatory compliance, information systems and fiduciary oversight, alongside leadership roles such as serving as the Chairman of the Kurnool Branch of the ICAI during 2022–2023 and experience as a statutory auditor for NGOs, trusts, societies and a Nidhi Company.
