Vedant Fashions is reshaping its board governance with the appointment of two Independent Directors and a clarification around the tenure of an existing member. The company said it has approved the appointment of Nihir Parikh and Neetu Kashiramka as Additional Directors, to be designated as Non-Executive Independent Directors, each for a five-year term starting September 2, 2026 and not liable to retire by rotation, subject to shareholder approval at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting. At the same time, Tarun Puri will complete his tenure as an Independent Director on September 5, 2026, after which Vedant Fashions will begin a refreshed board composition aligned with its growth ambitions.
Nihir Parikh brings a prominent track record in consumer technology, e-commerce, and omnichannel retail. The former Chief Executive Officer of Nykaa Fashion and NykaaMan has spent two decades shaping consumer platforms and brands across India, with prior experience in life sciences and engineering. He is joining Vedant Fashions from Nykaa, where he led fashion and lifestyle growth, and his governance and strategic insight are poised to complement the company’s board-level oversight.
Neetu Kashiramka, a Chartered Accountant with about 28 years of experience spanning finance, strategy and corporate governance, is likewise slated to join Vedant Fashions as an Independent Director. She previously served as Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of VIP Industries and has held senior roles at Jyothy Laboratories and Greaves Cotton. Founder of Neetara Advisors, Kashiramka is known for her expertise in corporate finance, fundraising, and investor relations. She joins Vedant Fashions from VIP Industries Limited.
With the new appointments, Nihir Parikh and Neetu Kashiramka will be inducted as members of the Audit Committee and the Nomination & Remuneration Committee. The committee realignment also sees Kashiramka chairing the Audit Committee, with Parikh joining as a member alongside Manish Mahendra Choksi and Ravi Modi, while the Nomination & Remuneration Committee will feature Choksi as Chair, with Sunish Sharma and Nihir Parikh as members. The company has also announced its 24th AGM for September 28, 2026, with a voting window and record dates outlined for the year’s final dividend, underscoring a governance refresh ahead of the upcoming shareholder meeting.
