In a move designed to shore up its people function amid turbulent times, Simbhaoli Sugars Limited has appointed Yogendra Pal Arya as Corporate Head – Human Resource, a senior management role. The appointment, approved by the Interim Resolution Professional (IRP) and placed on record, positions Arya to lead the HR function as the company forges ahead through the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP). He joins a leadership team navigating the complexities of asset management, creditor deliberations, and ongoing operations under IRP oversight.
Arya brings more than 38 years of experience across human resources, industrial relations, legal and administration. A holder of an MBA in HR, along with an M.Com and an LLB, he began his professional journey in 1988 with Prakash Industries and has since served with organizations such as Indian Toners & Developers, Polyplex Corporation Limited, and Triveni Engineering. Prior to joining Simbhaoli, he was associated with Bajaj Hindustan Sugar as a zonal HR, IR and legal head, bringing a blend of HR leadership, regulatory awareness and IR experience to the role.
The appointment underscores a renewed emphasis on people strategy and industrial relations at a time when the company is working through CIRP and creditor-led processes.
