Rallis India appoints Sridhar Radhakrishnan as CFO as Bhaskar Swaminathan exits to Tata Group

Rallis India Limited is steering a leadership transition in its finance function, with Chief Financial Officer Bhaskar Swaminathan stepping down to join another Tata Group company and the board naming Sridhar Radhakrishnan as his successor. The change will take effect on November 4, 2026, ensuring a seamless handover as the company continues to navigate its growth trajectory. The board’s decision follows recommendations from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Audit Committee, underscoring Rallis India’s emphasis on robust financial leadership at a pivotal juncture.

Sridhar Radhakrishnan brings more than two decades of finance leadership across the Tata ecosystem. He has been serving as CFO of Tata Consulting Engineers Limited for the past four years and has previously held finance roles at Tata Sons Private Limited, Tata Chemicals Limited and Tata Teleservices Limited. A Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, Radhakrishnan is positioned to lead the company’s financial strategy and governance as Rallis India advances its market and innovation agenda.

Bhaskar Swaminathan, who has been at the helm of the company’s finances, expresses gratitude for the opportunities at Rallis India and wishes the organization continued success. His transition to a Tata Group company marks the end of a tenure that has seen him steer financial operations through a period of change and growth. The leadership switch signals Rallis India’s continued focus on building a strong, in-house finance function capable of sustaining its performance ambitions in a competitive agro-based business landscape.

As Rallis recalibrates its executive team, the appointment of Sridhar Radhakrishnan reinforces the company’s commitment to continuity and strategic financial stewardship within the Tata ecosystem. The move also highlights the importance of experienced finance leadership in guiding product innovation, capital allocation, and long-term value creation for shareholders, customers, and employees alike.
