Dr. Vikram Jit Singh Chhatwal will demit the office of Whole-Time Director and continue on the Board as a Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director and Chairman, with effect from the close of business hours on August 8, 2026. The change, aimed at strengthening board leadership and succession planning, will see him step away from day-to-day executive responsibilities while remaining at the helm of board deliberations as chairman.
The board, following the Nomination and Remuneration Committee’s recommendation, has approved the designation change subject to the requisite approvals from members and other authorities as may be required. In tandem with the shift, Dr. Chhatwal will cease to be a Key Managerial Personnel of the company from the specified date, signaling a clear separation between governance and management layers.
Dr. Vikram Jit Singh Chhatwal is presented as a healthcare visionary with a global perspective shaped by a blend of clinical practice, research, and international management experience. The attachment highlights a medical degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, a PhD from the National University of Singapore, an MBA in International Management from École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris, and a Post-Graduate diploma in Public Health Administration, complemented by prior leadership roles such as CEO of Reliance Health and CEO of Apollo Health Street.
