Mannam Malakondaiah, a distinguished member of the 1985 batch of the Indian Police Service, is slated for a second five-year term. He retired as the Director General of Police (Head of Police Force), Andhra Pradesh, on June 30, 2018, after a career spanning nearly four decades. His background includes leadership roles such as Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of APSRTC, head roles across district police administrations, and senior positions in the Anti-Corruption Bureau, APTRANSCO, Civil Supplies, and CISF. Since retirement, he has served as Administrative Member of the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal and as an Honorary Advisor to Vignan University.
Srinivas Samavedam, a leading Critical Care Medicine specialist with over 26 years of experience, is currently serving as Consultant & Head of Critical Care at Sindhu Hospitals, Hyderabad. He is internationally recognized for his expertise in critical care, emergency trauma management, obstetric critical care, and ECMO, and is credited with introducing ECMO services in Hyderabad. His prior leadership roles include Head of the Department – Critical Care and Medical Director at Virinchi Hospitals, Hyderabad, as well as senior positions at Century Super Specialty Hospital and CARE Hospitals, among others. He has contributed as an accredited faculty for ISCCM and DNB training programs and participates in national ICU policy discussions.
