Safari Industries appoints Aditya Bhargava as Chief Financial Officer

Safari Industries (India) Limited has announced a leadership step that underpins its financial governance. At its board meeting held on August 4, 2026, the company formalized the appointment and redesignation of Aditya Bhargava as Chief Financial Officer, with immediate effect, and noted that he will be treated as Senior Management under applicable regulatory guidelines. The move is framed as a key shift in the company’s executive leadership, signaling a sharpened emphasis on financial strategy and oversight as Safari navigates its growth agenda.

Bhargava arrives with more than two decades of experience spanning finance, accounts, commercial functions and procurement across diverse sectors. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds a B.Com (Honours) from Delhi University. His most recent role was CFO for Badshah Masala Private Limited, where he also served as SAARC Finance Head for Dabur, overseeing broader business functions including legal, IT, HR and operations in addition to finance. His prior stints include senior financial leadership roles at PepsiCo India Holding Private Limited and Gillette India Limited, positioning him to lead Safari’s finance organization through the next phase of expansion and risk management.

This appointment places a seasoned financial executive at the helm of Safari’s finance function, with expectations of enhanced financial planning, control and performance monitoring across the group. Safari, which operates in the luggage and bags segment, has been aligning its leadership team to reinforce governance and strategic execution as it pursues its growth trajectory. Bhargava’s background in large consumer-driven businesses offers a blend of financial discipline and cross-functional collaboration that the management says will be instrumental as the company scales.
