Alkyl Amines Chemicals Limited has unveiled a decisive leadership reshuffle aimed at strengthening succession and sustaining growth. At its board meeting on August 4, 2026, the company approved a redesignation plan for its top executives, with all moves slated to take effect from October 1, 2026, and subject to the shareholders’ approval via postal ballot. The changes center on elevating the executive leadership team while preserving continuity in the company’s strategic direction.
The highlight of the announcement is the elevation of Yogesh M. Kothari, the long-time Chairman and Managing Director who founded the company, to the role of Executive Chairman. Concurrently, Kirat M. Patel and Suneet Y. Kothari, both serving as Executive Directors, were redesignated as Joint Managing Directors, reflecting a broadened mandate to steer the company’s growth trajectory through the end of their current terms in late 2029. In a related move, Rakesh Goyal, currently Whole-time Director – Operations, was redesignated as Executive Director – Operations for a five-year term from April 1, 2027, through March 31, 2032, under revised remuneration terms.
The company notes that these redesignations are designed to support ongoing expansion and to ensure a smooth leadership transition for the next phase of Alkyl Amines’ development. Acknowledging governance considerations, the board also approved the compensation framework for non-executive directors, with shareholder approval sought through a postal ballot. Beyond the leadership realignment, Alkyl Amines reported its unaudited quarterly results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, highlighting a total revenue of Rs 537.31 crore and profit after tax of Rs 94.63 crore, underscoring a period of robust operating performance as the new leadership cadence takes shape.
