KPIT Technologies reshapes leadership with board evolution and executive renewals

KPIT Technologies has unveiled a leadership refresh in its board and senior management, signaling a deliberate move toward governance continuity after the passing of co-founder Ravi Pandit. In a board meeting held on July 29, 2026, the company announced the appointment of Nirmala Pandit as Additional and Non-Independent Non-Executive Director, effective July 29, 2026, through July 28, 2029, not liable to retire by rotation. A promoter and significant shareholder, Pandit’s involvement at the board level is positioned to bolster continuity and stewardship of KPIT’s values and long-term strategy.

Independent Non-Executive Director Anant Talaulicar will serve as Chairman of the Board for a one-year term through the ensuing AGM on August 31, 2026. The move underscores KPIT’s emphasis on stable governance during a pivotal period for the company. At the same time, the Board reappointed Bhavna Doshi as Independent Director for a further five-year term, subject to member approvals at the upcoming AGM.

The company also extended the tenure of its executives: Anup Sable, currently Chief Operating Officer and board member, was reappointed as Whole-time Director for five more years, from December 22, 2026 to December 21, 2031. Chinmay Pandit, another long-time executive and Whole-time Director, was reappointed for five years from July 26, 2027 to July 25, 2032. Omkar Panse, KPIT’s Chief Technology Officer, was appointed as Senior Management Personnel to continue leading the technology agenda and SDV strategy, reinforcing the firm’s chip-to-cloud ambition.

Additionally, the board reconstituted the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee to include Dr. Nirmala Pandit as a member. It also signaled maintaining remuneration limits for non-executive and executive directors for a five-year horizon, subject to member approvals at the AGM. The company has fixed August 12, 2026 as the record date for the final dividend for FY 2025-26, pending member approval at the AGM.
