The appointment is described as not liable to retire by rotation, reinforcing the board’s independence and governance mix for the foreseeable future.
Vanvari, 54, brings a chartered accountant’s rigor to Kolte-Patil’s governance framework. He has more than 27 years of consulting experience, including over 13 years with KPMG where he led the Tax practice and was part of the India Leadership Team. In his tenure at KPMG, he steered the firm’s M&A Tax activities and advised a wide range of business owners across sectors. Prior to KPMG, he spent more than a decade with Arthur Andersen, with experience spanning manufacturing, infrastructure, telecom, IT/ITeS, energy, financial services, and more. He also holds equity in the company, owning 50,000 shares of Rs 10 each.
