ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India Limited is entering a new chapter of governance and financial stewardship as it announces leadership changes that tighten the grip on strategy and compliance. The Chennai-based unit of ZF Group has named Rakesh Mishra as Chief Financial Officer, effective September 1, 2026, and appointed C V Kavviya as Whole-Time Company Secretary and Compliance Officer from July 25, 2026. Kavviya will also continue in her interim Compliance Officer role until further. The moves come as the company, formerly WABCO INDIA Limited, continues to align with its global parent’s standards of governance and financial discipline.
Rakesh Mishra is a Chartered Accountant with more than three decades in finance leadership across technology and engineering groups. Before his appointment, he was Head of Finance & Compliance at ZF India Pvt Ltd (Tech Centre India – Hyderabad), where he led financial strategy, governance, taxation, M&A activities, and ERP-driven finance transformation. A NASSCOM Regional Council member (2023–24), Mishra holds a B.Com from Utkal University and executive leadership certificates from Cornell University and the Indian School of Business.
Ms. Kavviya, an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) with Membership No. A55102, brings a blend of law, commerce, and governance to the role. Her background spans law (LLB), commerce (M.Com), and international business (MBA). With around nine years of experience in corporate laws, secretarial compliance, and governance matters, Kavviya is slated to oversee the company’s secretarial functions on a full-time basis, complementing the board’s oversight.
Taken together, the appointments underscore ZF CVCS India’s emphasis on strengthening executive leadership at a time of expansion and transformation.
