Sasken Technologies Limited announced a leadership and governance reshuffle as it closes a chapter on an Independent Director’s term. Sunirmal Talukdar completed his second term and ceased to be an Independent Director and member of the company’s committees, effective July 21, 2026. The board expressed its appreciation for his contributions as part of the orderly transition that accompanies board refreshment and governance continuity.
In the wake of this change, Sasken’s Board resolved to reconstitute its key regulatory committees by co-opting two of the company’s existing Independent Directors, V. Suryanarayanan and Meeta Malhotra, to respective committees with immediate effect. The moves underscore the company’s effort to preserve governance continuity while bringing seasoned governance voices into the fold.
Specifics of the committee reinvigoration show Meeta Malhotra and V. Suryanarayanan joining the Stakeholders Relationship Committee, alongside Dr. G. Venkatesh and Rajiv C. Mody. The Risk Management Committee welcomes V. Suryanarayanan as a member, joining Pranabh Mody and Dr. G. Venkatesh. Meeta Malhotra becomes a member of the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, which includes Rajiv C. Mody (Chairman), Pranabh Mody and Meeta Malhotra. Lastly, the Audit Committee sees V. Suryanarayanan designated as Chairman (replacing Sunirmal Talukdar), with the committee comprising V. Suryanarayanan (Chairman), Pranabh Mody, Sunil Sachan and Som Mittal. This reconstitution aligns with the board’s ongoing commitment to robust oversight across stakeholders, risk, and governance functions while maintaining continuity during the transition.
