V. as Part-time Official (Nominee) Directors on its Board, effective July 17, 2026, replacing Venkatesapathy S and P.B Nooh, whose tenures have ceasing to continue from the same date. The move underscores ongoing governance ties between the shipyard and government leadership in ports and transport aeras, as the organization navigates ambitious maritime and industrial agendas.
Mukesh Mangal, an Indian Telecom Service officer from the 1992 batch, is currently serving as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways. His career spans more than three decades across internal security, cyber security, telecom technology and related national security initiatives, including efforts to curb cyber-crime linked misuse of telecom resources. In the MoPSW, he oversees Vigilance, Shipping Unit and the Sagarmala Wing, with involvement in projects such as the National Maritime Heritage Complex. He also holds government-nominee director roles in several other maritime and port-related bodies around the country.
Anupama T. V. IAS, a 2010-batch officer from the Kerala cadre, is the Secretary, Transport Department, Government of Kerala. Her portfolio includes Airports, Metro Rail and Personnel and Administrative Reforms, among others, and she brings a background that blends engineering education with high-level administration and reforms. Her prior roles in Kerala governance encompass District Collector responsibilities and leadership positions in Tourism, Land Revenue and other departments.
