Pudumjee Paper Products Limited said that the shareholders, through a postal ballot, approved the appointment of Anil Shankarlal Mittal as a Non-Executive Independent Director for a term of five years, effective from 22 May 2026 to 21 May 2031.
Anil Shankarlal Mittal, aged 65, is a B.Com graduate who has long been associated with Mittal Builders, the family-owned real estate development group, since 1981. The Mittal Group focuses on residential, commercial, and industrial property development, and Mittal has been a principal figure in the organisation’s finance and construction functions, contributing to the group’s growth over more than six decades.
His appointment signals the company’s commitment to strengthening independent governance as it pursues its growth agenda. Mittal’s background in real estate and finance is expected to bring a broad, long-term perspective to Pudumjee Paper’s leadership and augment board oversight as the company navigates its strategic priorities.
