Hindustan Construction Company Limited has announced the appointment of Nakul Pasricha as a Non-Executive Independent Director, effective July 10, 2026. The move, taken by the board through a circular resolution, adds a seasoned technology and governance professional to the company’s board for a five-year term, subject to shareholder approval at the forthcoming general meeting or within three months of the appointment, whichever comes first. Pasricha is not currently debarred from holding directorships by any regulatory authority.
Pasricha brings more than 27 years of cross-border leadership in technology, operations and strategy. He is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of PharmaSecure, a technology-driven anti-counterfeiting solutions provider with a footprint across India, Africa and beyond. Under his leadership, PharmaSecure has developed patented technology to protect medicines and supply chains, served more than 100 companies, and protected more than 10 billion packs. He is also credited with driving industry-wide advocacy through roles such as President (two terms) and Vice President of the Authentication Solution Providers’ Association (ASPA), and with contributing to a landmark report on counterfeit activity in India.
Beyond PharmaSecure, Pasricha has held technology leadership roles with global institutions, including CitiBank and General Electric, and serves on multiple boards and advisory bodies, including Flexing It and various regional and national forums on intellectual property rights and counterfeiting. This breadth of experience—combining tech enablement, governance, and cross-sector collaboration—could offer HCC valuable perspectives on risk management, digital enablement, and complex stakeholder engagement as it continues to navigate large-scale infrastructure challenges.
