Everest Kanto Cylinder Limited has named Narender Prasad Gupta as its new Chief Executive Officer, naming him as a key managerial personnel with effect from July 1, 2026. The appointment marks a formal leadership handover as the company accelerates its transformation and growth agenda.
Gupta is a Mechanical Engineer (AMIE) with an MBA from IMT Ghaziabad and holds a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma. He brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in the automotive and manufacturing sectors, having held senior roles across Jamna Auto Industries, Hero Motors Company, Stellantis India, Metzeler Automotive, and Motherson Sumi. In his most recent position as Business Unit Head – Exports at Jamna Auto Industries, he led export operations and drove business process restructuring across the group.
Throughout his career, Gupta has steered large-scale manufacturing operations, secured global contracts, and propelled operational excellence, productivity improvements, and cost optimization. He has been recognized as one of the Top 10 Indian Manufacturing CEOs by CEO Insights in 2024 and has received multiple Supplier Excellence Awards from OEMs including BMW, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, and a Belgian cycle factory, reflecting his track record in leadership and execution.
