Juniper Hotels Limited has announced the resignation of Tarun Jaitly from the post of Chief Financial Officer of the company and from Chartered Hotels Private Limited, its material subsidiary. The resignation will be effective from the close of business hours on July 15, 2026, as he moves on to pursue a new opportunity outside the organization. The development marks a turning point for the group’s finance leadership as it begins a leadership transition at the helm of its financial operations.
In the interim, the company has earmarked a slate of senior internal executives to maintain financial stewardship. Amit Saraf, President, along with Sandeep Joshi, Vice President – Finance & Accounts, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, will oversee the CFO responsibilities until a successor is appointed. Juniper Hotels Limited has also stated that it is actively identifying and appointing a new Chief Financial Officer within the timelines prescribed by applicable laws, with continuity plans in place to safeguard governance and reporting during the transition.
The departure of a chief financial officer often tests an organization’s ability to navigate change while maintaining disciplined financial oversight. By naming interim leadership from within the finance ranks, Juniper emphasizes continuity as it undertakes a formal search for a permanent replacement. The company noted that Tarun Jaitly’s resignation from Chartered Hotels Private Limited, the subsidiary, is effective on the same date, underscoring the scope of the transition across the corporate group.
