In a strategic leadership shift at Tamil Nadu Newsprint & Papers Limited (TNPL), the Government of Tamil Nadu has appointed Thiru Kumar Jayant, I.A.S., as Chairman and Managing Director with full additional charge, effective 30 April 2026. Kumar Jayant is a 1992-batch Indian Administrative Service officer from the Tamil Nadu cadre, aged 58.
