Tilaknagar Industries Limited has named Ina Bajwa as Chief People Officer, a senior management post, with effect from March 9, 2026. The appointment follows a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, signaling a sharpened focus on people, culture and organizational capability as the company pursues its growth and transformation agenda.
In tandem with this leadership evolution, Ameya Deshpande will cease to oversee the Human Resources function but will continue in his overarching role as Chief Strategy Officer. The move reflects an intentional reallocation of responsibilities at the top, aligning the people function more directly with the company’s strategic priorities while preserving Deshpande’s mandate to steer strategy across the business.

Her experience spans CHRO positions at Tata 1mg, Chief Talent Officer at Tata Digital, and senior HR leadership at Tata Communications, alongside a recent role as Group Head of Talent & Engagement for Landmark Group Middle East. She holds a PGDM in HR and a bachelor’s degree in communications and economics, with additional executive development credentials from programs at Harvard and industry certifications in talent management and coaching. Her profile underscores deep expertise in talent and succession planning, leadership development, organization design, performance and rewards, workforce planning, culture transformation and HR digitization.
