Capital Small Finance Bank Elevates Two Internal Leaders to Senior Management Roles

Capital Small Finance Bank Limited has quietly reshaped its internal leadership, designating two long-serving executives as Senior Management Personnel with effect from April 29, 2026. Raghav Aggarwal, currently Chief Credit Officer (Branch Banking), has been named SMP, while Manish Khurana, Head of Internal Audit, has also been designated as SMP. The move signals the bank’s emphasis on continuity and deep internal expertise as it steers through a period of expansion.

Raghav Aggarwal brings more than 16 years of experience across credit and risk, including 12.5 years in banking. He has previously served as Chief Risk Officer for the bank in recent years and has been with Capital Small Finance Bank since 2015 in various capacities. As Chief Credit Officer (Branch Banking), his elevation underscores the bank’s focus on strengthening its credit franchise across its branch network and enhancing risk-aware lending.

Manish Khurana, a qualified CA with additional credentials, has been the Head of Internal Audit since January 2022 and has been associated with the bank since March 2012. Under his leadership, the internal audit function has advanced, reinforcing controls, risk management processes, and governance mechanisms, with a steady eye on regulatory alignment and robust oversight across operations.

Industry observers note that elevating senior internal leaders from within the organization reflects Capital Small Finance Bank’s strategy to build leadership depth and maintain continuity as it scales. The bank’s latest moves spotlight a leadership team rooted in credit discipline, risk management, and governance—the core pillars many lenders lean on in a rapidly evolving banking landscape.
