Yash Jalta Named Head of Fleet Service at Mahindra Logistics, Signaling Deeper Push into Fleet Efficiency

Mahindra Logistics Limited has named Yash Jalta as Head – Fleet Service Business and Senior Management Personnel, with effect from 10 March 2026, following a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. The move underscores the company’s emphasis on strengthening its fleet operations and service delivery as it presses ahead with its growth agenda.

Jalta’s appointment comes after he began work with 2 x 2 Logistics Private Limited, a subsidiary of Mahindra Logistics, in November 2025. The role marks a rapid progression for a professional whose experience spans supply chain management, cost optimization, and large-scale fleet and linehaul performance, with a focus on tech-enabled procurement and operations. Earlier stints include leadership positions in fleet, linehaul, and procurement at Ecom Express and Delhivery.

With more than a decade in the field, Jalta brings a track record of elevating service levels and driving operational efficiency across complex logistics networks. His academic credentials include a B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication from Lovely Professional University and an Advanced Programme in Supply Chain Management from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, credentials that align with Mahindra Logistics’ push toward more integrated, technology-led logistics solutions.

The appointment signals Mahindra Logistics’ intent to deepen its leadership in fleet management as it navigates an increasingly competitive landscape for outsourced logistics services. Jalta’s blend of hands-on operations experience and strategic oversight is expected to bolster the company’s fleet performance, cost discipline, and customer service — core pillars of the group’s business model.
