3M India Limited has announced a leadership reshuffle that signals a clear push on its healthcare agenda, anchored by an internal promotion. The Board has approved Jerry Daniel as Country Business Leader – Healthcare, with effect from May 1, 2026, and he will be designated a Senior Management Personnel on taking up the post. At the same time, Rajiv Gupta, who currently leads the Healthcare Business as Country Business Leader, will transition to a senior leadership role within the 3M Group and will cease to be Senior Management Personnel.
Jerry Daniel is stepping into this role from within the company. He currently serves as Business Operations Leader – Transportation & Energy and has been based in Pune since 2023. His tenure with 3M stretches back to 2013, during which he has held multiple leadership posts across Asia, including Area Portfolio Leader for Automotive & Aerospace, Regional Sales Leader for Southeast Asia, and most recently Division & General Manager for the Auto Division in Bangalore. He holds an Engineering degree and a Diploma in Marketing Management.
Rajiv Gupta’s move illustrates 3M’s commitment to nurturing internal leadership through talent mobility. By transitioning to a senior leadership role within the 3M Group, Gupta will be aligning with a broader organizational strategy while stepping back from the company’s Senior Management Personnel cadre. The changes underscore 3M India’s intent to sustain leadership depth in its Healthcare portfolio as it navigates a dynamic market landscape.
