The appointment, classified as Senior Management Personnel, follows the board’s approval via circular resolution on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. The move signals the company’s intent to sharpen its people strategy as it navigates growth and a consumer-facing business model that spans both online and offline channels.
Sailaja M brings with her about 22 years of HR leadership experience across global and Indian multinational corporations and startups at various stages of growth. Her expertise spans end-to-end employee lifecycle management, underpinned by a track record of building and scaling HR functions in diverse environments.
Educated with a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune, and a Master’s degree in Labour Laws & Labour Welfare from Symbiosis Law College, Pune, Sailaja’s background spans roles in e-commerce and offline retail, including Bharti Retail Easyday, H&M, Cafe Coffee Day, MakeMyTrip, EBO Mart Private Limited, and Sephora (Reliance Brands).
