IRCTC has announced a change in its senior management lineup, marking a notable shift in its leadership structure. Sunil Beniwal, an IRTS officer who was serving on deputation to IRCTC as General General Manager, North Zone (one level below the Board), has been repatriated with effect from March 9, 2026. Accordingly, he ceases to be Senior Management Personnel from that date.
In the same development, Naveen Dixit, currently General General Manager for IT and Projects, will assume the additional charge of GGM/NZ, alongside his existing responsibilities, with immediate effect.
The changes underscore IRCTC’s continued emphasis on strengthening North Zone operations and accelerating IT and project initiatives. As the company steers through a dynamic rail and tourism landscape, the expanded remit for Dixit places a sharpened focus on technology-led transformation across the network, while the repatriation of Beniwal signals a routine strategic realignment within the organization’s senior ranks.
