Dinesh Khara joins Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions as Independent Director; Arijit Basu resigns from the board

Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions Limited has appointed Dinesh Khara as an Additional Non-Executive Independent Director, effective 17 March 2026, for a three-year term, subject to shareholder approval. The appointment, disclosed after a board meeting, signals the company’s intent to strengthen governance as it scales its renewable energy platform.

Khara brings nearly four decades in banking, including a tenure as Chairman of the State Bank of India from October 2020 to August 2024. In his career at SBI, he led the international banking and subsidiaries ecosystem, with roles spanning corporate banking, treasury operations, risk and compliance, and the management of SBI’s non-banking subsidiaries. His appointment adds a veteran lens on governance, risk management, and strategic execution to Clean Max’s board.

Separately, Arijit Basu has resigned as Non-Executive Independent Director of the company with effect from 17 March 2026, the company noted. Basu’s resignation letter cites professional commitments and the RBI-mandated constraint that a director of a bank cannot concurrently hold a directorship in a company that has borrowed from the bank, a factor in his decision given his new role as Chairman and Independent Director of IndusInd Bank. The company thanked him for his services.

With these changes, Clean Max’s board enters a phase of refreshed oversight as it continues to pursue growth in the clean energy space, with an emphasis on independence and robust governance to support investor confidence and strategic execution.
