DCM Shriram Fine Chemicals appoints Alok Bansidhar Shriram as Board Member

In a strategic addition to its governance framework, DCM Shriram Fine Chemicals Limited has appointed Alok Bansidhar Shriram as a director on its board, effective March 3, 2026. The move signals the company’s intent to harness senior leadership insight from a closely allied business ecosystem as it charts its next phase of growth.

Mr. Alok Bansidhar Shriram is the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of DCM Shriram International Limited, described as a multi-product company with a long track record. He brings more than four decades of senior management experience to the table, a background that spans leadership roles across the Shriram group and its external affiliations. In addition to his executive responsibilities, he serves as Vice Chairman of the Shriram Institute for Industrial Research in Delhi, and has held prominent positions in industry circles, including past President of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) and a continuing presence on the Executive Committee of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).

His broader corporate footprint includes directorships at Synergy Environics Limited and Shriram Midivisana Engineering Pvt. Ltd., as well as involvement with the National Skill Development Corporation. He is also affiliated with Wanderlust Fintech LLP and holds life memberships with the Textile Association of India. A Rotary Club of Delhi Premier member and Paul Harris Fellow, he is on the boards of the Indian Social Responsibility Network (ISRN) and the International Organisation of Employers (IOE). Notably, he chairs the Board of Governors at Dr. Bansi Dhar Institute, underscoring a blend of corporate leadership and social responsibility experience that the new appointment is expected to leverage.
