Mittal’s career with LIC spans more than three decades, having joined the Corporation in 1992 as an Assistant Administrative Officer. A science graduate who also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and is a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India, he has served in diverse administrative and marketing roles across LIC’s Northern Zone, North Central Zone and Western Zone, as well as at the Central Office. His leadership stints include Branch Manager, Senior Branch Manager, Chief Manager, and Business Development Manager (Bancassurance), along with executive positions such as Marketing Manager of the Aurangabad Division and Senior Divisional Manager of Gorakhpur and Rohtak Divisions. Prior to this elevation, he was Chief (Customer Relationship Management/Claims/Annuities), Central Office.
